All boxed up and ready to go

So this is what my basement currently looks like. We did find out that it looks like things are moving forward again and we may be able to close Wednesday or Thursday, so that's good. I am seriously looking forward to getting these out of here, though. There's still so much to do and so much to pack...I'm glad to be doing and packing. Jen came over today and gave me a ton of moving boxes and we sat on the couch drinking coffee and talking, it was nice. I showed her the pictures of the house on my computer. She made "I'll be impressed when I see how you guys fix up the place" noises, which was great. It does need a lot of work, but it's mostly cosmetic. My recovery is going peachy, I finally got to eat some solids today (woo hoo!) and it was AWESOME. Also, the pain in my face from the swelling is significantly lessened but I have some wicked impressive purple and yellow bruises, and that's just good fun to show off. I feel like I'm on the playground again.
