He's not QUITE dead...

First things first: I apologize for all the doom and gloom yesterday, but you have to understand something. Everyone has a breaking point, I just happened to hit mine yesterday as a result of a wound being opened and re-opened once a week (and then three days in a row) for about two months now. This is a daily blog, and that was a very significant portion of my day yesterday. That being said, I am fine, I am going to be fine, I realize that this is a surmountable obstacle. I'm emotionally raw and exhausted. As of today it looks like MONDAY is the day. At least that's less than a week away this time. We're going to have to rush like crazy to get it move-in ready, but that's just how it's gonna have to be. Moving on now. Tonight's rehearsal had two awesome longforms. This is a picture of a climactic scene from the second half of our practice. (going from left to right) James is Julie's son, as is John P., who is being hung on by Nifer who is his girlfriend. In 3/4 of the longform John P. was pretending to be dead and James quite literally dragged him around the entire time. At the end John P. killed John R. and James dragged him off the stage, resulting in a hillarious full circle tie in. One of these days I'm just going to have to basically put an entire longform in a blog posting just so you non-improv folk can get an idea of how amazing and intricate this stuff is, especially considering we make it up off the top of our heads. Gah! It's like candy!
