No, really, it's true!
Yes, it's the same shirt and scarf, but in my defense, I wore them just long enough to clean for a couple hours the other day and I just needed to put on something I can get dirty in. *ahem* Anyhow, so I set out bright and early, swung by Wal-Mart to get some vinegar (it cleans things really well) then on to the house for what I thought was to be another day of scrubbing, stripping (OF PAPER!) and improvement. About noon I got a call from a very good friend of mine...one who I helped escape a bad situation in January, as some of you may recall. Anyhow, she's back in town temporarily to sort out some legal matters and whatnot, so she wanted to see me. Needless to say, I rushed over there, picked her up, showed her my new house....and put her to work. :-) No, really I brought her to the house and showed her around, apologized for not being able to stop working and we had a conversation while I stripped wallpaper. She helped out as well, but completely of her own volition. Really. What? I took her to coffee as the afternoon was winding down. This is me and Melissa and her daughter Braelyn's arm. Brianna refused to fit into the frame so we decided to make it mostly just the two of us. After I took her home we came back to the house all our stuff is still in so Bri could take a short nap while I waited for the bus to drop Leigha off. Jason got off work early and when he came home we all drove to the new house to continue our work. It really is insane how much we have to do and less than a week to finish. We're getting there, though. One wallpaper strip at a time.
