I had been planning on being at the new house all day today, painting and fixing up. Since that's out the window, I researched free things going on in the KC area and found a Conservation Discovery Center that was celebrating the year of the frog by having a bunch of hands on educational centers and crafts that kids could do. They had a blast. We buzzed Country Club Plaza for coffee and paint chip samples from Restoration Hardware before heading back. Hey, gas is $3.19 a gallon, I gotta combine trips! I made some dinner and a dessert (which I never d0) then Leigha went to spend the night at Mallari's. The Imp was having "game night" tonight so I called Tiffany and Nifer and asked if they wanted to get some Deal or No Deal on, and we headed to the theater. *note-there was a little arm twisting on my part. I think they enjoyed themselves.* We went to the bar next door afterward and Tiffany made Nifer and I dance with her....I was sooooo dizzy. She's a great dancer! John, Denice and Carl joined us after a while, we had a blast. It was great to spend quality time with my family AND my friends today, I love days like this.
