Everything, everything will be all right, all right

Today I went to a sale in the vicinity of my good friend Amie H, so I called her up and asked if she wanted to get together for coffee. She was free, so we got together for coffee...then we went grocery shopping.....then we had lunch. All in all, the "quick coffee" turned into about a four and a half hour hangout. That's still better than the record setting "swing by for lunch" that turned into five days. (car trouble, Christmas time, flights are full, you get the picture.) It was great. I really wish we lived closer. This evening was Leigha's Thanksgiving production (curse the darkness of the picture!) She had some lines and she delivered them perfectly without the flat tone some kids get when reciting. Wonder where she picked up that skill? It was really really amusing to see the army of parents stand up in unison to ready the camcorders. I actually got a picture of that, too, it's very funny. I understand the why, but the follow through is still amusing. We took the girls out for ice cream afterward and when we got home they were both shivering. They didn't seem to mind horribly, though.
