I dunno, Alaska!

Jason's parents drove up this morning and took us out to breakfast. They're beginning a loooooong drive-Missouri to Alaska. Jason's dad is a contract nurse and his new contract begins in the next couple weeks, in Anchorage! (Yup, we're so going to visit!) We had a great breakfast with them and then the headed off into the...mid morningness. (see, that's why people should always leave in the late afternoon/early evening.) Jason and I have been busy little bees today, fixing up little things around the house, painting a few trim pieces, installing wainscotting, and somehow we managed to get a full grocery shopping trip in as well. It's nice having our own place to fix up. *hearts and loves!*

Is "dawn" the word you're looking for?

Actually, snarkalicious, it's not! It was about 11am by the time they left. Long after dawn. :-P

Jason is trying to work a snowboarding trip out with his brother. I hope they make it work! And this is only for 3-6 months, so grandma won't be there and there won't be a yard...but I fully intend to see a moose! :-D
