Yeeeeeeeees?
Goodness sake's, I have beautiful sisters, don't I? We got ready this morning and drove to Lake Tahoe. My mom's cousin, Sandi, got married today. It was a very intimate ceremony, taking place in a suite at a resort in Zephyr Cove, and my extended family made up about 70% of the guest list, give or take. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. The groom cried the whole time, it was so sweet! We had champagne and cake, then everyone had coffee or tea. From left to right, that's me, Lynette, and Janina. Middle, oldest, youngest. Ironically, as far as shades of dark brown go, our cups go: darkest, lightest, middle. After the wedding had concluded we piled onto the elevator and went out to eat with my family. (Jason, girls, sibs, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles.) We had a great dinner then went to Grandma and Grandpa's for some conversation and togetherness time. It's so great to have everyone here at the same time! It can be quite lonesome living so far away from your family. At least in Kansas City we have Jason's family closeby, when we lived in Denver it was a 16 hour drive in either direction just to see anyone! We came back to my parent's house, got the girls to bed, then we all watched Uncle Buck. I'd never seen it. Bravo, John Candy, we miss you.
