Friendly competition

Leigha made friends with the girl whose horse spooked the other day. This girl is really, really good at riding. We were talking to her mom and apparently they homeschool her and do horse shows about 50 weekends of every year. Yeah, just that frequently. They're from Ohio. Leigha and Alexis hung out all day pretty much, then competed against one another in three different events. Leigha got last in halter again, but moved up in placings for walk/trot and horsemanship, landing fourth out of five in both! It was the same kids and same events as Thursday, so she is improving! Yay! Brianna did lead line again and again everyone got first place. This time they gave her an easter basket full of card games, color wonder markers and a coloring book, and some chocolate. Sweet. Leigha won a bathing sponge and a promotional cup for the show. Her tack room is improving every day! (now all it needs is four walls, a roof, a foundation, some land to put it on, and a barn to surround it!) It was a good day at the show, really. Tomorrow is our last day in Saint Louis. It's been fun!
