Four little maids from school are we

Jason and I were busy little elves today. We walked to the convenience store nearby to get some sodas then set to work tearing apart the inside of my closet so I could redo it in a non-idiot fashion. (seriously, we are beginning to think actual monkeys lived here before us.) I made some nummy chicken soup for dinner then went to Hype 7 rehearsal. We had fun, did a LOT of shortform and a LOT of good work. After, Nifer asked if anyone wanted to go next door (she's had a crappy day and 'next door' is a dive bar.) and all the guys begged off, so Nifer, Jen and I were going to go. While we were still discussing things on the sidewalk Julie saw us and we invited her to come with, so we had a lovely, spontaneous girl's night out. Well, girl's HOUR out, we all have things to do early tomorrow. It was so much fun. While we were at the table a lady came up and put her arm around Nifer and said, "Okay, the people at the poker table are betting on your age and they think you're twelve. How old ARE you?" "Um.....23?" "Oh, okay. *laugh*" and she walked off. Nice. Every time we go there people stare at us as we walk in because we SO CLEARLY don't belong there. *shrug* It's convenient and their food is decent.
