We drove the 3 hours to Jason's mom's house today to celebrate his Grandma's 81st birthday. Her birthday is actually the 25th, but that's also our anniversary and everybody has things going on every other weekend this month, so we celebrated today. She's sitting in front of the cake, obviously, and standing behind her is Jason's Grandpa (her ex husband) and Jason's mom. Jason's brother Tim was there and the girls jumped all over him, which was cute. We looked at old photos of Jason being a dork and dinking around with his Grandpa's airplane. It's so cute to see a picture of him from over ten years ago doing what is now his career. We came home in the evening, laden with an abundance of food. "Take it, we're never going to eat it all!" That's an order I can live with.
