It's a tiny party!

Zak had a graduation party today, which basically translated into most of Hype 7 caravaning together to Kearney, MO, just north of KC. His parents have a cute place out in the country and we spent most of our time in the screened in porch talking, eating, and playing Apples to Apples. (Super fun, I need to buy it. Oh, and I won twice.) This is Nifer, Tiffany showing her true colors, Zak, Joe, Jen (Zak's girlfriend) and me. Jason was kind enough to take this picture for us. While we were playing Brianna ran onto the porch, said, "Happy birthday, Zak!" Then ran back to play with the other kids. We all laughed big time at that, Zak's birthday is in September. In Brianna's little mind, though, if there's cake, it's gotta be a birthday. We later gathered in the kitchen and sang happy birthday to him while he pretended to be embarrassed...and might very well have been. Just a tiny bit. Nifer came by later in the evening and we discussed logistics for our two person group as well as hotels for our Chicago trip. We were able to find a suite for $114 a night in a really amazing location. We booked it faster than a cop taking down a minority group juvenile delinquent. I am so so excited for this trip, and it's really coming together well! We're going to have such a good time!
